A: There is no fee for asking a question. Experts pay a fee when they cash out.
Q: Is there a way to keep questions and conversations private?
A: No. Guruza is about sharing and documenting knowledge. All questions and conversations on Guruza are public.

A: There is no fee for answering questions. However, there is a 20% fee when you cash out.
Q: How do I collect my money when I cash out?
Q: At the end of each day (midnight - Pacific Daylight Time), we send all payments to users that cashed out. Payment is sent to your email address through PayPal. When you receive our payment email, click on the link to

Q: The person that asked the question determines if your answer was successful or not.
A: What if I answered the question correctly, but the user never pays?
A: We keep track of the success rate for each user that asks questions. The success rate is calculated as the percentage of time that an expert was successful in answering a question for the user. You will be presented with the success rate for a user before you decide to answer their answering their question.
Q: Can I chat with users using a client other than the web browser?
A: Currently, the web browser is the only way to chat with users. In the future we may add a desktop client.
