"My New Car is Stalling" I bought my new Mazda6 2006 5 door with 5 speed manual transmission back in Feb.2006. The car ran great until this summer. Everyday when I leave work after sitting in heat and sun for 8 hours I have problems with taking off. I put it into gear wether it be reverse or first and it will take me about 5 feet and will act like it is not getting enough gas. It starts jerking and carry on like someone who is driving a clutch for the first time. If I continue down the road it will stall so I have to push in the clutch and race the motor as if it did not have fuel injection. Once I get it going again it does not do it any more. The car does not act like this in the morning when I leave for work only in the afternoon when the temps. are warmer. Does anyone know what this can be caused by? Also two times since I had it and would back into a parking space I would hold the clutch fully in until I turn the engine off and the car would make a loud noise and jerking motion as if I let the clutch out too fast and killed the engine instead of turning it off. Can anyone help with that??? I hate to run all the way down to Nashville where I purchased the car just for the tech. to take it for a test run and say there is nothing wrong with it b/c it only does this after sitting for a long period of time.
